Description
AMG’s F14 Fusion Tactical Monocular delivers unmatched night time performance in a compact package. This bi-spectrum optic combines I² light amplification with thermal imaging technology, allowing the operator to observe targets in extreme darkness such as moonless nights, as well as under adverse environmental conditions including smoke, fog, rain, and snow. This provides the operator with different variants of image view: thermal imaging, I² night vision, and enhanced fusion image which combines the two for easily adapting to different environmental conditions. The combination of night vision and thermal imaging makes the F14 Fusion Tactical Monocular perfect for police/military applications such as patrol, search and rescue, drug interdiction, and suspect apprehension, or for scenarios like nighttime predator hunting. The F14 is also equipped with a waterproof exterior to stand up to severe weather.
Other features of the F14 Fusion Tactical Monocular includes a Gen 2+ high-performance image intensifier tube (IIT) and a 12μm high-sensitivity thermal detector with 640x512 resolution. The F14’s image brightness and image quality can be adjusted to the highest possible degree in changing lighting conditions thanks to a manual gain control, and the user-friendly and comfortable ergonomics makes operation simple and intuitive. In addition, the F14 Fusion Tactical Monocular can be used as a handheld device, or be mounted to a helmet for hands free operation.
