SureFire’s SOCOM65-RC2 takes much of its design from the SOCOM556-RC, the suppressor that passes the extremely demanding trials of the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM). The SOCOM65-RC2 is optimized for semiautomatic rifles chambered in .260 caliber, 6.5 Creedmoor and 6mm. The SOCOM65-RC2 quickly and securely attaches to the weapon via SureFire’s own Fast-Attach muzzle brakes and flash hiders such as the SF3P, SFMB and WARCOMP. The interior of this suppressor features an innovative series of baffles which significantly reduce sound and visible muzzle flash. These internals also have internal venting to reduce back pressure, cyclic rate and gas blowback resulting in a significantly reduced operating temperature.
