The TX22 Competition was designed with a heavy emphasis on performance, accuracy, and speed, and comes fully equipped with a wide assortment of Taurus exclusive features. This custom tuned pistol features an optics ready slide with its breech end milled to accept a base mounting plate as well as two small adapter plates. This provides 4 distinct mounting patterns, and can accommodate many of today’s popular micro red dot sights. The slide is also skeletonized, and features an enlarged ejection port to ensure spent brass clears the mounted optic. Other features of the TX22 Competition include a 5.25” bull barrel to absorb the vibrations caused by recoil as well as the heat generated from sustained firing. The bull barrel is outfitted with 1/2x28” threads for use with a suppressor, and includes a thread protector. In addition, TX22 Competition is equipped with a match grade trigger that delivers a smooth pull and a crisp break to further enhance accuracy, speed, and rapid fire capabilities.
