This durable piece of tech is designed to the U.S. Military 810 standard for thermal, shock, and water resistance, and is perfect for hikers, hunters, and other individuals with active outdoor lifestyles. It comes equipped with Multi-GNSS support which provides access to GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo global navigation satellite systems for greater navigational accuracy than GPS alone. To take the guesswork out of your return journey, the Instinct is outfitted with the Tracback Routing app which allows you to navigate the same route back to your starting point. This smartwatch also features ABC sensors which features an altimeter to display elevation data, a barometer for weather monitoring, and a 3-axis digital compass. In addition to its impressive navigational abilities, the Instinct also features a wrist-based heart rate monitor for gauging the intensity of your fitness activities, a stress tracking feature that uses heart rate variability to calculate if you’re having a calm, balanced or stressful day, and built-in sports apps for hiking, running, biking and other activities. Should your four-legged friends join you on your adventure, the Instinct is able to pair with Garmin’s Astro and Alpha dog training collars, allowing you to track their location and receive status updates and alerts on your smartwatch. The Instinct can also pair with select Garmin inReach devices (sold separately, active satellite subscription required) to view and send messages, get weather alerts on your wrist and trigger an SOS to the GEOS 24/7 emergency response team.
