Constructed from titanium alloy, the SOCOM762-TI2 weighs in at a mere 11 ounces – this ultra-lightweight design translates to a negligible impact on weapon-handling characteristics. The interior of the SOCOM762-TI2 is composed of SureFire’s advanced Direct Metal Laser Sintered V-Shaped Titanium Baffle Stack – a design which utilizes SureFire’s own internal venting technology to consistently distribute thermodynamic gases and diminish the impulse effects on the projectile as it clears the muzzle. This innovative design results in a tremendous reduction in sound, virtually eliminates first-round muzzle flash, and greatly mitigates dust signatures when firing from a prone position. The SOCOM762-TI2’s groundbreaking baffle design also delivers an unprecedented level of baffle alignment and structural integrity to ensure precise bore concentricity, superior accuracy, and a long service life. In addition, the SOCOM762-TI2 is equipped with SureFire’s patented Fast-Attach system for quick and easy mounting/unmounting on the host weapon.
