The Scalarworks LEAP 30mm Scope Mount with 1.57" centerline height is one of the lightest quick-detach riflescope mounts on the market. The LEAP scope mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and uses 4140H steel hardware for absolute rigidity that results in a near seamless integration between your rifle and optic. Scalarworks LEAP mounts are designed using two of the most efficient structures in engineering, the tubular boom and I-beam bridge. These structures not only add strength and impact resistance to the mount, but also allow for significant weight reduction. Additionally, LEAP Scope Mounts feature the Scalarworks' LevelDrive screw that ensures that your scope is always perfectly level when in the mount.
One of the most notable features of the Scalarworks LEAP Scope Mount, is the ring design. Unlike most riflescope mounts and rings that utilize a separating ring system, the LEAP Scope Mount utilizes a high-strength precision hinge that ensures even pressure around the optic. The Scalarworks ring secures using twin oversized shoulder screws for enhanced rigidity and weight reduction.
Scalarworks knows that every weapon's system should be streamlined and that's why they developed their ClickDrive quick-detach mechanism that eliminates the need for protruding levers, bolts, and knobs that are often unpleasant contact points and tend to get caught on clothing and gear.
