It utilizes Garmin’s proven Tri-Tronics technology that uses accelerometer-based identification to distinguish between barking and other vocalizations. The BarkLimiter Deluxe is ready to go directly out of the box, and features an impressive 3 month battery life before needing to be recharged. It has been optimized to work with all dog breeds and coat thickness, and detects bark signals exclusively through vibrations from your dog’s throat. This prevents accidental correction from paw scratching, rubbing on external surfaces, and other noises such as barks from nearby dogs. Other features of the BarkLimiter Deluxe include Autorise Technology which starts at the lowest correction setting and gradually adjusts to a level to stop unwanted barking without rising it further. Alternatively, the BarkLimiter Deluxe features a secondary vibration setting for correction without stimulation.
