Description
The Explorator Pro TB50-384 delivers superior thermal imaging capabilities in an easy to use package. It comes equipped with a 17μm, Uncooled, 50 Hz thermal detector with 384x288 resolution, capable of detecting sources of heat at ranges up to 2500 yards. Heat signatures are projected onto a 0.39-inch, OLED, 1024×768 monitor, and are viewable in four palettes: white hot, black hot, red hot, and fusion. White hot displays sources of heat as white silhouettes over a predominantly black background, while black hot shows sources of heat as black silhouettes over a predominantly white background. Red hot displays heat signatures as red: the higher the temperature, the redder the image. Fusion uses multiple colors to display temperature variations – white shows the hottest part of the image and purple shows the coolest, with yellow, red, and pink in between. The Explorator Pro also features Recognition and Jungle scene modes to better adapt to changing environmental conditions. Recognition mode improves the image by creating a more distinct edge around the object, while jungle highlights smaller objects.
Other features of the Explorator Pro include a user-friendly interface. All buttons and controls are strategically placed in ergonomic locations, and a dual eye viewing system accommodates longer viewing sessions with reduced eye strain. The Explorator Pro can also be mounted on a tripod for better stability, and external power supply compatibility can greatly extend runtime. In addition, the Explorator Pro features an onboard WiFi module for streaming video/images to a compatible device.
