Garmin’s Instinct Solar Tactical Smartwatch was designed for individuals with extreme outdoor lifestyles, and comes packed with features to give you the most out of your adventure. To ensure flawless performance in extreme conditions, the Instinct Solar Tactical is built to U.S. Military 810 standards for thermal, shock, and water resistance, and features an integrated solar panel for greatly enhanced battery life. In terms of tactical functionality, this Smartwatch is equipped with a night vision compatible screen, as well as Stealth Mode, which stops storing and sharing your GPS position and disables wireless communication and connectivity. The Instinct Solar Tactical also features an advanced navigational system which gives the user access to multiple global navigational satellite systems including GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo, as well as a Dual-Format GPS to give the user access to topographical maps and can even be used to set and save remote geo positions. Another tactical aspect is Jumpmaster Mode – a sophisticated feature that calculates high-altitude release points according to military guidelines and helps guide you to your objective after you’ve jumped.
In addition to its impressive tactically focused features, the Instinct Solar Tactical comes preloaded with a multitude of other useful functions. It comes outfitted with ABC sensors including an altimeter, a barometer for monitoring weather, and a 3-axis digital compass. The Instinct Solar Tactical also features sensors to monitor your breathing, heart rate, oxygen consumption, and your body’s energy reserves.
