The Alverstone II GTX’s upper is constructed from Perwanger leather with Flex-Zones, and the lower sections feature Lateral Flex Technology; together, these features deliver excellent stability, and allows the boot to move in sync with the lower leg. Other features of the Alverstone II GTX include a Vibram Integral-Light sole with 3D PrismBase technology. This gives the boots excellent traction across a wide assortment of terrain, especially on steep uphill ascents thanks to a dedicated “climbing zone” built into the toe area.
