The Short Chop is essentially a smaller version of Q LLC’s Porq Chop suppressor (three less baffles), but offers the same exceptional performance. Just like its longer counterpart, the Short Chop was designed in conjunction with the 8.6 Blackout cartridge. Its built using a deep draw process involving laser welds, which makes the Short Chop affordable, durable, and lightweight – even lighter than many of the titanium silencers on the market. The use of steel means the Short Chop won’t spark like titanium suppressors, and a scratch-proof, burn-proof Nitride finish gives the suppressor superior resistance to the elements and corrosion. In addition, the Short Chop attaches to the host weapon via Q LLC’s Cherry Bomb muzzle brake, and is perfectly suited for both bolt action and semiautomatic rifles.
