Description
Kimber's KHX Custom delivers hair splitting accuracy right out of the box. It comes equipped with a factory-installed Holosun HE507C-GR X2 micro reflex sight. This compact optic is optimized for handgun use, and features Holosun's innovative Solar Failsafe system that continues to power the optic even if the battery is dead. The HE507-GR X2 also features Shake Awake technology which instantly activates the optic when motion is detected, making both the optic and handgun ready for action immediately.
The KHX Custom itself delivers the accuracy and performance that all Kimber 1911s share. The 3-dot suppressor height sights accommodate co-witnessing with the optic and the match grade trigger breaks cleanly between 4 to 5 pounds. To ensure better ergonomics and greater control over the weapon, the KHX Custom is outfitted with Hogue Magrip G-10 Mag grips as well as generous stippling on the front strap for a solid grasp. These grips extend downward to form a flared mag well for faster reloads. Additionally, the KHX Custom features unique hexagonal slide serrations to provide additional purchase during slide manipulations.
