Description
The Remington Model 870 MCS (Modular Combat System) Shotgun is the next generation of the 870 series. This shotgun is in the non-NFA configuration of the 870 MCS with all of the features minus the rubberized pistol grip and 11" & 14" barrels. The Remington Model 870 18" MCS Shotgun is chambered for 3" 12 gauge shells and will hold up to 6+1 in this configuration. The forend of the shotgun is ergonomically molded to give the user a better grip on the shotgun during fire and when manipulating the action.
The Remington Model 870 MCS 18" Shotgun features Picatinny rail attachment points for accessory and optics mounting. One rail is mounted to the top of the receiver is ideal for attaching optics like the Trijicon Reflex Sight or EOTech Holographic Sight. The second rail is found attached between the barrel and magazine tube near the muzzle and is ideal for adding tactical lights or lasers.
