Sig Sauer continues this handgun’s legacy with their own line of 1911s, and there is no better example of this than the Sig Sauer 1911 STX. This elegant, yet highly utilitarian handgun comes packed with features right out of the box. The slide has been given a shadowy Nitron finish and sports polished rear-cocking serrations. The dark slide contrasts perfectly against the stainless steel frame, which is accented by a handsome pair of burled maple grips with a glossy finish. For a comfortable and secure grip, the front strap features 25-lines per inch checkering while the mainspring housing has 20-lines per inch checkering. Like all Sig Sauer handguns, the 1911 STX is made with premium parts only, including a 5 inch, carbon steel match grade barrel for enhanced accuracy.
