In recent years, the CZ Shadow 2 Handgun has become an increasingly popular choice among top level USPSA competitors, and features an array of upgrades over the original CZ Shadow. This fast shooting, accurate handgun features a slightly longer barrel and slide – this provides a longer sight radius, as well as a little more weight towards the front for reduced recoil and muzzle flip. Like all of CZ’s handguns, the Shadow 2 offers excellent ergonomics. This level of shooter comfort can be attributed to a curved frame designed for a perfect fit in the shooter’s hand, and a tang that extends over the web of hand provides protection from hammer or slide bite. The Shadow 2’s extraordinary ergonomics are perfectly complimented by its low recoil, which is made possible by optimized grip geometry, checkering in key areas of the front and back straps, and a contoured design that focuses reciprocating mass to the centerline of the bore. Other features of the Shadow 2 include an optics ready slide, an extended magazine release with 3 selectable positions, and adjustable sights.
