Really Right Stuff’s PC-LR-40 Compact Panning Clamp is built to deliver precision horizontal panning in a versatile, highly modular package. Equipped with the patented lever-release clamp jaw and lockable 360° panning bearing, the PC-LR-40 offers a durable but lightweight panning solution for convenient single-row panorama shooting. Like all of Really Right Stuff’s premium lever release clamps, the PC-LR-40 features one of the fastest release of plates and rails in and out of the jaw, and the patented stainless steel lever flips to three positions: fully-open, half-open, and closed – allowing the user to immediately tell the position with a simple glance.
The PC-LR-40 also includes the patent pending R-mount which is compatible with all of Really Right Stuff’s ball head systems. This accommodates the use of the ball head to level the panning axis, and eliminates the need for a leveling base in many applications and increases the speed and accuracy provided by the panning clamp. Other features of the PC-LR-40 include laser engravings for panning angle/position, as well as an integrated 8mm bubble level for fast and easy leveling. In addition, the PC-LR-40 features a central 3/8”-16 threaded socket, as well as a flat-head 1/4"-20 and M6 screws for mounting directly to Really Right Stuff and Arca-Swiss ball heads.
