Description
New for 2022, Bergara’s Premier Series Divide is a lightweight, high-performance rifle that comes fully equipped with Bergara exclusive features. One of the Divide’s more notable aspects is its advanced #6 C6 Carbon Fiber Barrel with Coldbore Technology. The exterior of the barrel features a 45° Anti-Torsion Carbon Fiber Weave, with a Unidirectional High Module Carbon system with integrated Stainless Steel Strands located directly below. Under that is a Thermally Conductive Resin that coats the steel Bergara Precision Barrel at the core. Not only does this fusion of carbon fiber, resin, and steel reduce weight, but also makes the barrel highly rigid and straight. This combination also helps dissipate the heat generated from multiple shots, which in turn greatly enhances overall accuracy. The Divide also sports a durable AG Composite stock made from 100% carbon fiber. This helps reduce weight even further, and features an ergonomic grip that naturally fits in the hand and a fully adjustable cheek piece. As with all of Bergara’s Premier Series rifles, the Divide is equipped with the Premier action. This utilizes a two-lug system with a separate floating bolt head, which guarantees contact with the lug supports in the action. To ensure the cartridges feed smoothly, the bolt nose is cone shaped, and a spring-loaded sliding plate extractor allows for reliable ejection of spent brass. Other features of the Divide include a TriggerTech Frictionless Release Trigger, and an AICS style magazine. In addition, the Divide’s muzzle is threaded with 5/8x24” threads and comes with a Omni Muzzle Brake.
