New for 2022, the limited edition Heirloom 1911 lives up to its name with the flawless quality and craftmanship that all Dan Wesson firearms are known for. The Heirloom’s slide and frame are perfectly fitted to each other, and both have been engraved with ornate scrollwork for a distinct and timelessly classic appearance. The aesthetics of the Heirloom are elevated even further thanks to a Bronze PVD finish. Rugged and sophisticated, the Bronze PVD finish gives the pistol a shiny luster as well as protecting the metal from corrosion and the elements. Black accents on all of the Heirloom’s small parts and mainspring housing perfectly contrast against the glossy Bronze PVD finish, further characterizing the handgun. The Heirloom is topped off with a set of sleek black G10 grips, which enhance the pistol’s looks and delivers a secure gripping surface in all conditions.
In addition to its impeccable form, the Heirloom represents a true duplication of John Moses Browning’s original design, and comes fully equipped with the most popular features from various 1911 models. The five-inch barrel is match grade, giving the Heirloom the exceptional accuracy that all Dan Wesson 1911’s share. Other technical aspects of the Heirloom include a Commander-style hammer, a large beavertail, and a manual-safety/grip safety. In addition, the Heirloom’s iron sights are composed of brass bead front sight and u-notch rear sight for quick alignment.
