March’s technical expertise and precision manufacturing practices has led them to create the F Tactical Shorty Riflescope – an advanced optic with a 10x magnification range and a dual reticle. The dual reticle provides to best aspects of a first focal plane and second focal plane reticle. It offers the convenience of a first focal plane reticle which shrinks and grows as the user zooms in and out, but still provides the usability of a second focal plane reticle with a constant line thickness as the magnification changes. This dual reticle, combined with an ultra-bright illuminated center dot allows the user to use the F Tactical Shorty as a standard riflescope at higher magnification as well as a red dot sight at close range on 1x magnification. The reticle itself is the advanced DR-TR1, featuring a precise illuminated center dot with a “Christmas tree” pyramid of dots and hash marks to serve as holdover points to compensate for bullet drop and wind drift.
