Description
Upgrade your daytime optic with the Krypton Front Thermal Attachment by Pulsar. The benefits of using a thermal clip-on device on a daytime optic include longer eye relief, a conventional reticle shape, and quick conversion from regular to thermal viewing. The Krypton itself comes standard with a high-performance 12 µm VOx thermal imaging sensor with 640x480 pixel resolution that can detect man-sized sources of heat at ranges up to 2500 yards away. These heat signatures are projected on a 1746x1000 HD AMOLED display to provide imaging that is exceptionally crisp and highly contrasted. The Krypton attaches to the host-optic in two ways: a quick release PSP adapter mount and a PSP-V Weaver Rail mount. When using the PSP quick release adapter, the Proton can be precisely aligned for optimal field of view. The PSP-V Weaver rail mount is designed for pairing with riflescopes, and can be adjusted for alignment based on the riflescope’s objective lens diameter and mounting height. Other features of the Krypton include a high recoil rating, capable of withstanding heavy-hitting cartridges such as 12-gauge, .375 H&H, and 9.3x64. The Krypton also features Pulsar’s exclusive Image Boot Technology, which utilizes a series of software algorithms to increase clarity and overall detail, resulting in a sharper, more detailed field of view. In addition, the Krypton features Stream Vision 2 WiFi integration for streaming to Android and iOS devices, integrated 16 GB of memory for image and video recording, and 8 hours of runtime.
