Bavarian Stock Design: Oil-finished walnut stock features a Schnabel-type forend and classic checkering pattern, providing both functionality and tradition.

Got this for my 50th b-day (ok, I was 49 1/2 but I couldn't wait). The only rifle I have that can rival the accuracy of my 7x64 Bavarian is my Remington 700 with a Shilen barrel and blue-printed action with all the works.... The SAko has no flaws, nothing lacking, really a perfect rifle. I wish Sako would use a bit longer barrel, but whatever they are doing seems to really work. I would not hesitate to buy this rifle again.... beautiful metal and wood, and most importantly, it works. Will be hunting with it this fall in Colorado. 140gr Nosler ballistic tips and 160gr Sierra Gameking give outstanding accuracy. 168gr Accubond Long Range, not so much.... Service from eurooptic top notch.
