The Armasight MCS (Miniature Collimating Sight) is a micro LED collimating sight for “both-eyes open” rapid target acquisition. The MCS is rugged, lightweight and designed to mount onto many existing optics as well as MIL-STD=1913 Picatinny and Weaver-style rails. The Armasight MCS is the only sight on the market in its class that features a dual reticle pattern. The user can select a 3.5 MOA “Dot” reticle or 20 MOA “Ring” reticle pattern depending on mission requirements. The MCS is compatible with night vision devices of all generations. Reticle intensity is regulated by an automatic brightness control sensor (which can be overridden by the user to maximum brightness mode if so required). The MCS is designed to signifficantly improve accuracy and efficiency of virtually any weapon, from handguns and pistols, to assault rifles and light machine guns. The compact size and versatility of the MCS makes it an ideal secondary/backup optical sight. Accurate and reliable, the Armasight MCS features 1.2 MOA/click windage and 1.5 MOA/click adjustments. A unique optical design allows for parallax-free “always on the center” reticle. Waterproof; tested against salt fog, dust, vibration, drop-tested, and fired on a variety of ffirearms for thousands of rounds, the Armasight MCS complies with MIL-STD 810 G standard.

To be honest there is one thing i am not completely happy with, that is that it comes on one of two mounts rather then the sight without a mount. All that aside, the sight is built very very rugged, not too small nor too big.... just right ( by the way i have it mounted on a pistol ). It does take a bit more to sight it in because of the slight suspension added to the base. ( by the way i had read that it was easy to knock out of zero because of the suspension base ) thats a line of bull. I mounted this sight and used it to pull my rail on my pistol very easy at first then hard on door frames and table tops. I have dropped it repeatedly onto rubber mats and carpeted floors. Shot it afterwards. .... and it is dead on . You would in my opinion have to throw this sight full force onto a hard surface in order to get it out of zero. The finish is tough, the cover fits tight so as not to fall off. And the sun shade and tinted lense cover are very good as well. After 1000 rounds of plus p 9mm , still at zero. You cant go wrong with this sight. The red dot is great and when you line it up it is bang on as is the circle retical. Both perfect brightness with out power and wow bright with the power over ride. Again i say i am so completely happy with my purchase and encourage you to take this sight serious , whether to mount on a pistol or as a second cqc sight. You will have a hard time finding better even in the 5-700 dollar range. I have had the leupold, trijicon, t1, t2, this sight is as good or better then these other sights. And this one is night vision ready. 10 out of 10 for performance and build, 9 out of 10 for mounting.... at least on a pistol. Get it if you are smart. You'll love it.
