I can't believe I got this beautiful rifle at this price. I had just looked at a Savage, for the same money (although it had a scope), at a box store. The bolt on this rifle is so much smoother than the Savage. I also looked at the T3X. I loved it, but couldn't justify the $800+, for myself. I came home, searched online, and found this sale. The removable mag works great on this rifle. My hunting buddy is always bitching about his 300 Weatherby, and how much of a pain to load and unload it is. This one is easy. Rounds go into the mag easily and the mag clicks in easily. Even while it's hanging over my shoulder, on the sling. After I ordered the gun, I ran by our local Bushnell factory outlet and picked up a 2.5-10 x 40 600 DOA scope. It fits the rifle very well (I believe a 42mm would fit, but it'd be tight). The Tikka comes with 1" rings and with a pair of quick detach sling swivels. This rifle shoots great and carries really well. First time out, I had it zeroed into the top half of a 6" target, after 10 rounds. I left it 1.5" high at 100. I ended up putting 16 rounds through it, with no coat on. My shoulder wasn't overly sore (I'm 130lbs wet...). I did go ahead and order a limb saver, just for more comfort; to assist in confidence and minimize reaction. I carried it a couple miles, deer hunting, the other day. It wasn't tiring, like other guns I've hunted with. I just didn't want to scratch it, in the brush. Now I just have to get used to a left handed gun, I've been shooting right handed guns, from my left, all my life. You will not be disappointed with this gun!

I now own 3 of these beauties (2 from EuroOptic). T3 lite stainless in 300wsm , T3 Hunter 7mm rem mag, T3 Hunter in 6.5x55.. Great customer service from the team at Euro - always cheerful to answer any questions and help with the selection and transfers. What I can say from personal experience is that they shoot soooo good! The great Sako barrel is one of the most accurate for almost any price point. My 300wsm was putting 5 shot groups into .5 MOA at 100 yds as soon as I found the ammo she liked, 3 shot groups into .248. The rifle shoots better than I do. Multiple single hole punches and clover leaves should not be an uncommon expectation with these. The hunter model is also a classic wood stock beauty!

My son was extremely happy with the cost, and quality of the rifle. the day we received it, he had a scope mounted and brought it out to the firing range for a test fire. The rifle needed very little effort to handle and target with. We are very happy with our purchase.

This is my forth Tikka and first purchase from Euro Optic. I own a 308, 30-06, 25-06, and now this 270. I was very pleased with the whole transaction start to finish. The gun was shipped quickly to my local FFL and had no issues with transferring the gun. These guns are a true classic nothing fancy but super reliable every time. All of them shoot well out of the box using factory ammo. I would choose all my Tikkas over a Remington 700 or a browning X-Bolt any day. Normally I would put a Nikon 3-9x40 scope on but this time I went with a Leupold Rifleman it's the perfect hunting set up. At this price you cannot go wrong nor will be disappointed!
