I have owned virtually every red dot type sight. All electronic type with battery. This one is the only fiber optic pistol reflex that I ever owned, with dual illumination, having tritium.. The fact that there are no batteries is a great plus. a choice of 7MOA and larger is a plus, thats where the pluses end. This sight has a nice round dot with no starbursting etc like electronic ones can. now the neg. parts.The lens has no spot that is clear. It has distortion edge to edge! not even the center has a sweet spot at all! If you do not shoot with both eyes, this is not for you. I am lucky that I have always used two eyes even with powered scopes..The next neg. is that it has power! it is not 1x it is more like 1.25x-1.50x which I do not see in even the least expensive reflex pistol sights.. I would not bother, but with an MSRP of 555.00 and a average price of 429.00, these anomalies should not be present. I only purchased it is because Euro Optics had a fair price, actually the best price. The 3rd neg. For this kind of high end optics you might think that Trijicon would actually include the 10.00 sheet metal base to cover and protect
the base since there is an O-ring material there. And they advise that the best way to clean lens is with a lens pen which they dont provide. another 10.00 item that would all fit in the deluxe Pelican type case that is big enough for ten units...I would have traded those very important items for a cardboard box like my Delta Pro came in, instead of a plastic jewelry box. you cannot and should not mount this on an RMR cut slide without the sheetmetal wafer on base. the RMR is wider than the G17 type slides. This sight is the only fiber optic of its type and if there was another brand I would buy the other brand. too much money for so little effort

This is the 2nd rmr04 I have purchased.
Rugged, dependable and easy to use.
The dot is bright and easy to see.
Both are mounted on Beretta handguns and make quick sighting easy.

This is my second Trijicon RMR Dual illuminated sight. It is tough, robust and does not require batteries. I think it’s a great product for your MOS pistol.
