I have been running this unit for about a month. It is flawless. I previously owned a Sig Kilo 2400ABS. The Sig was only good to around 1400-1500 yards. The Terrapin will range tress at 2400 Yards. The blue tooth makes easy work when paired to a kestrel. It works every time. Very simple operation I find a plus as well. Not so many features that you get lost trying to use them all.I recently helped set up a PRS event and used the Terrapin to range the Course of Fire. I was ranging a 1400 yard 20 in plate reliably and with out the display running +/- 10 yards like the Sig. it was constant at 1400. The azimuth and angle indicator will be very beneficial to those hunting in the mountains with steep angles. All in All its a must have if you want a reliable and precise unit.

I recently picked up this unit because it was the best fit for my requirements in a rangefinder and I was not disappointed as it exceeds my expectations in performance. I also had an initial issue in registering the rangefinder through the app. I was a little concerned at first with the customer service I would receive on this issue, but all my concerns where quickly (emphasis on quickly) addressed and handled. Within one hour of contacting Eurooptics to discuss the issue, I had an email from Vertronix customer support, and in less than 24 hours, my issue was resolved and the unit was registered. AMAZING customer service and technical support from both Eurooptics and Vectronix. I would not hesitate in the least to buy from either of these companies in the future.

Very impressed with the quality and accuracy of the Terrapin X! The app works like a charm and now everyone can own a Vectronix without having to take out a 2nd mortgage!

Pros: Updated firmware and software is helpful. Personally used with Hornady 4DOF. Instant ballistic data generated upon ranging for your particular ballistic profile. When paired with native mobile geolocation, the rangefinder instantly maps distance to target visually overlayed within Google maps. This information can be shared or saved as any other map data. Single button control allows scroll through for more to-target information including inclination/declination, and compass readings. Can also pair with Kestrel, but haven’t personally used as yet. Glass is very clear and 8x optical magnification helps to double as a makeshift spotter at short distances, up to about 100yds.
Cons: Once a range is targeted, there is a several second period “cooldown” that needs to be observed before ranging again. It basically requires a patient attitude and a steady hand, but it can be annoying when trying to make several ranges in quick succession. Using a tripod helps to take accurate measurements.

Excellent product! I have tested this out to a mile on a 1 MOA target without a 'no read'. Prompt and fantastic customer service from Eurooptic as usual.

I have had the Terrapin -x about a week so far , It has superior glass to my other range finders which were Bushnell and a Lieca , I am impressed with the speed of ranging and the accuracy of unit as well , I also linked it to my cell phone with the Terrapin app and paired it with my kestrel 5700 AB , Works flawlessly , I have been looking at hi end range finders for some time now and I got this one as it was on sale , They are really great units , I am happy with my purchase and Euro optic rocks . I have ranged out to 2375 yards so far

This is an excellent PIece of equipment. I range multiple targets out to 1307yards at my range. The only problem seems to be battery life. It’s normally fine but once in a while it seems to drain the battery.
I would buy this unit again

Excellent product. Ranges quickly and accurately. I've only ranged out to 940 yards and when held steady it ranges beautifully. Actually smaller than photos led me to believe, but still larger than others like Leica and Sig offerings. Pouch to protect is large and affords only protection from dirt and dust. I've ordered a padded case so to molle attach it to PRS pack for matches. Happy to finally have this rangefinder!

I got to use this a few weeks back. Very impressed they. Have some updates pending over the lifetime of the product that will be able stay ahead of the competition for years to come. By far the vest range finder available to date!
