This is an outstanding package! The fit and finish of the R8 is as good as it gets, with accuracy and function second to none. The first day at the range I took 18 rounds of 300WM to get zeroed and my 19-24TH rounds were all in the X. Both commercial loading's of 375H&H shot to the same point of impact at 50 and 100 yards. This rifle is heavy which tames recoil, so you can actually train at the range without getting punished. On the negative side carrying it in mountains wouldn't be any joy, but I bought this rifle for Africa so I'll take the weight and recoil management.
