The new Leica CRF 1000 compact range finder looks much like its predecessor, the Leica CRF 900, as it utilizes the same tested, ergonomic body. However, it differs in some very important ways! As you-d expect from the name, the new Leica CRF 1000 will range targets out to 1,000 yards. In addition, it will offer the following key
improvements:

• Atmospheric data - the new Leica CRF 1000 records outside air temperature and baro-metric pressure.
• Ballistic compensation - the new Leica CRF 1000 will feature newly developed ballistic holdover compensation.

Data will be displayed in the same easily viewed LED display, and the new Leica CRF 1000 will share the same physical dimensions as current Leica CRF models. It will weigh mere ounces more due to additional internal electronics.
