Sako Black Bear Rifle

The Sako 85 Black Bear was designed specifically for bear and boar hunting made with fast handling and quick shooting in mind. The stock is designed for toughness and durability and the rifle features the standard Sako 85 action with two action sizes based on cartridge length available. A novel and distinctive barrel fluting process gives the Sako 85 Black Bear 20” barrel a unique look and the front sling swivel is mounted on the barrel. The Sako 85 Black Bear is available in a number of calibers including 9.3x62. Additional features of the rifle are described below:

Barrel – Short, fluted, free-floating, cold-hammer forged bull barrel
Trigger – Single stage with adjustable pull from 2 to 4lbs
Action – Sizes matched to cartridges; mechanical ejection and integral tapered scope mount rail
Safety – Bolt handle lock allows loading and unloading of the rifle with the safety engaged
Stock – Black composite stock with soft gripping surfaces
Sights – Adjustable Express “V” rear, white bead front and integral dovetail for scope mounts
Magazine – Detachable and can be loaded through the ejection port
Calibers: 308 Winchester, 30-06 Govt and 9.3x62 Mauser
