The patented PhotoChromatic Technology shell covers the fiber optic strands, and turns purple in natural UV light which naturally tempers it. The PhotoChromatic Technology works in conjunction with the SkyCoil technology, which gathers more light for 20% brighter pins in low light situations while the PhotoChromatic Technology manages the pin brightness in daylight for an unobstructed view.
