Lantac’s N15 Raven is one of the most advanced and highest performing AR-platforms available, crafted to the highest specifications by expert gunsmiths and packed with industry leading innovations. The upper receiver is composed of the UAR (Upper Advanced Receiver), which is given a special proprietary bore that is considerably smooth to reduce bolt carrier resistance, friction and provide smoother operation. The lower receiver features a broached mag well which is internally flared to facilitate faster and easier reloads, and a rear takedown pin area has a spotface recess machined into it to make pin removal simplified. Both the upper and lower receiver are precision machined from a solid billet of aircraft grade 7075-T6 aluminum, and feature improved mil-spec tolerances in strategic areas. The N15 Raven’s bolt carrier group is Lantac’s own E-BCG. Milled from high-quality 8620 steel, the E-BCG is coated in Electroless Nickle Boron (NiB) to produce a ultra-hard and smooth finish. The E-BCG’s cam pin is a CP-R360 Dome Head pin, which greatly reduces friction and wear, while the forward facing ports of the E-BCG vents the gas away from the shooter. The N15 Raven’s barrel is a testament to Lantac’s devotion to quality. Each barrel starts as a blank, which is then drilled, double-reamed, and honed before being rifled with Lantac’s innovative button system and given a cryogenic treatment. The barrel is chambered in .223 Wylde, allowing the shooter to exploit the accuracy advantages associated with the .223 Remington cartridge without the over pressure and functionality issues occasionally found with 5.56 NATO cartridges. This barrel configuration allows both .223 and 5.56 cartridges to be used reliably, and gives the rifle a sub-MOA guarantee when using high-quality factory ammunition. One of the N15 Raven’s more notable features is the ABS or Adjustable Buffer System. This unique buffer system lets the shooter dial in additional spring tension to create additional pressure on the carrier. As a result, the bolt is in battery longer and allows the gun to function without any excessive carrier recoil being transferred into the shooter’s shoulder through the buffer tube. Another Lantac exclusive feature includes the DGN556B Dragon Advanced Muzzle Brake, specially design to reduce recoil and muzzle rise to zero. This advanced muzzle device is pinned and welded to bring the barrel length to 16 inches, with the weld remaining undressed so the work is easily identifiable to anyone inspecting the rifle. In addition, the N15 Raven is outfitted with Magpul furniture including a collapsible stock, a MOE+ grip, and front and rear MBUS flip up sights.
