Leica
Leica’s Geovid Pro 10x42mm AB+ brings a whole new level of optical performance and rangefinding abilities in one of the smallest and lightest packages available. It comes equipped with the Applied Ballistics Elite ballistics program pre-installed, and thanks to close cooperation with a ballistics software specialist, the Geovid Pro 10x42mm AB+ is the world’s first rangefinding binocular outfitted with Shot Probability Analysis. This highly advanced software takes into account four main parameters – distance, wind speed, rifle precision, and bullet muzzle velocity – to calculate the probability of actually hitting the target. Once evaluated, the influence of possible deviations from the ideal shot are determined, and the likelihood of hitting the target will be displayed as a percentage in the shooter’s field of view. With the percentage of hitting the target displayed, the hunter can immediately determine whether or not to take the shot. In addition to its advanced ballistics software, the Geovid Pro 10x42mm AB+ can deliver precise measurements up to 2950 meters away.
Like all of Leica’s optics, the Geovid Pro 10x42mm AB+ binoculars offer outstanding optical performance. This is thanks to the use of Perger-Porro prisms which were specially designed by Leica. These prisms feature special multi-coatings to effectively reduce stray light and reflections, resulting in rich detail, sharpness, contrast, and color fidelity.
