New for 2023, Trijicon’s RMR HD is a compact, extremely durable micro red dot specifically designed to meet the ever changing demands of military and law enforcement professionals. Its built on the proven foundation of Trijicon’s RMR Adjustable LED, and utilizes the same patented housing shape, forged aluminum construction, premium lenses, and durable electronics.

In addition to sharing all of the same great features as its predecessor, the RMR HD comes fully equipped with a wide array of upgrades. One of the most notable improvements is a forward-mounted light sensor, which enables the RMR HD’s Automatic Brightness mode. This innovative feature detects the light at the target – not just the shooter – and adjusts the reticles brightness accordingly. This eliminates the issue of “reticle washout” when moving dimly lit space to brightly lit area, as well as “reticle bloom” when moving from a bright to a dark area. The reticle itself is a user selectable dot in the center of a ring, or a just a dot for an unobstructed view of the target. Illumination settings have been improved to 9 brightness settings, 3 night-vision compatible settings, and 1 super bright setting. The controls have been optimized to be more tactile and audible, and provide positive feedback to users wearing gloves. Other upgrades of the RMR HD include a top loading battery compartment for changing the battery without removing the optic from the pistol, and an index ridge alignment aid on the top of the target to promote faster target acquisition.
