I do really like this Scout scope. When sighting it in at 100yds I did have issues with the amount of reticle movement. The turrets indicates that each click is 1/4 MOA . However the actual movement is way bigger than that. I would move it a couple clicks and it would move my impact like 3 MOA after way too many rounds fired I eventually got it sighted in. What a hassle. Besides a difficult sight it, useing the scope is pretty sweet. Love the FireDot feature

I tried utilizing this scope on my Lever 450 Marlin. My eyes are outside the 20/20 realm anymore so my ghost ring is a blur with anything beyond my barrel end clearing. Time to make a change. I figured having the eye relief of the scout scope (considering the recoil of my hand-loads) would be a great benefit while providing a near unmagnified lower setting for quick acquisition. I'm certain of Leupold's quality standards and have never had any issues with past Leupold's I've purchased. Saying that, my guess as to why this one was a blurry at any setting (without my cheater's) is because it is on a different focal plane. My current two non-scout Leupold's and my Zeiss are perfectly clear, both reticle and field of view without cheater's. When I use cheater's with the scout model, the reticle and field of view is clear. Once again, without cheaters the scout is blurry, with cheaters the scout is clear. My other standard scopes I can use without issues without cheater's. I'd have to presume a person with perfect vision would be fine with this scope. If I'm wrong and the scope is defective it would be the first I've experienced from Leupold.
