I'm not entirely certain it's worth $100....but it has performed as well as one would hope. Definitely a great investment to protect the glass on your precious (and pricey) Swarovski scope!

Purchased these covers for an elk hunt last fall. Well made but I have gone back to a single neoprene cover after trying these in the field. The appeal of the flip covers is clearly convenience/quick access to open viewing from full protection. I had two issues: one, the hinge on the cover does not allow for installation without removing the scope. This may vary from rifle to rifle, but I would guess that most of us mount scopes as low as the objective diameter will allow which in most cases will not allow enough clearance to simply screw on the caps without removing the scope entirely. Second issue was that the magnets holding the scope covers down were too weak. Several times after carrying the rifle on my shoulder through trees/brush, I would take the rifle off my shoulder and the scopes would have popped open, leaving the glass unprotected. Neoprene has the advantage of protecting the entire scope from scratches and in most cases in a spot/stock situation you have plenty of time to remove them.

Great product. Much better since they added the magnetic lock instead of the O rings.

I should have purchased these years ago. 1st time on my Z6 on a moose hunt. With all the walking i never had any issues with the magnets. Scope covers stayed closed and were easily deployed when i needed them to open.
