I p.urchased this optic to replace an older 1" Leupold for use onto a 280 Ackley custom rifle. We hunt the mountains of NC and my thinking was the accupoint would be an asset early mornings and very late evenings. I love the green dot, and I currently own 3 other Trijicon products, several Nightforce & Zeiss products, and too many Leupolds to count.
This is a well manufactured scope, the fit and finish is exceptional, and the glass is beautiful and as good as any Leupold product I currently own. The accupoint is perfect, easily brightened or dimmed, and quickly draws your eye to the center of the recticle. Installation was quick and easy using a set of EGW low rings over a nightforce 0 MOA base. It's a cool looking rig on the rifle. We hunt a lot and shoot 1000 yard benchrest for fun, so I'm pretty familiar with most scope adjustments. My only complaint with this Trijicon is the windage adjustment. The elevation clicks are fairly easy to feel and adjust, but the windage adjustment is very sloppy and extremely difficult to "feel", no definitive click, not near as "absolute" as the nightforce and zeiss products I own. Did it click...or did it not....it turned but I didn't feel anything...This weak point is unlike any Trijicon product I currently own. It seems to hold zero, once you find it, but there's no excuse for this slop in a scope costing nearly one grand. ..will advise further as deer season progresses. The mountains of NC are hard hunts and our equipment has to be resolute....the jury is still out on this one.

This is my 3rd Trijicon product. It was purchased to sit onto my custom 280 Ackley. Whitetail deer are our primary target while hunting in the mountains of North Carolina. I was not interested in a complicated scope with a recticle having tons of marks, batteries, nor switches to adjust the intensity, but rather a simple fairly lightweight device which would allow work out to 400-500 yards at dawn and dusk. The trijicon center dot is daytime adjustable, and easily seen even when the cross hairs are tough to find. It's small, perfect for pinpoint accuracy, no fiddling with knobs, just put the dot on the target and squeeze off a clean shot. The adjustment clicks are clean, easily felt, precise, and secured by a metal cover cap which I prefer. The glass is bright, clear, and tracking is spot on. The exterior finish is matt black, and tough. Trijicon builds one extraordinary product which is perfect for my hunting needs. Thanks Eurooptic for a quality product, quick shipment, and a very fair price.
