The Scout Backpack by Alaska Guide Creations is perfect for situations such as half-day scouting/hunting trips, predator hunting, turkey hunting, or any other application where a full-size frame backpack would be too big and bulky. Designed as a stand-alone hydration pack, the Scout is lightweight and is the next size up from AGC’s Stalker series. The Scout is compatible with AGC’s binocular packs, and can be used to carry a rifle/shotgun/bow with the drop down pouch as well as additional pieces of gear. The interior of the Scout offers 1400 cubic inches of storage (including the additional pocket), and features a 3-liter bladder with an insulated hose and ambidextrous hose slots. In addition, the Scout utilizes snap-in female buckles in the middle of the back panel allow for customizing the strap/tie down locations. This unique system allows each user to strap different gear items in multiple fashions. The female buckles can be moved from the center loops to the outside loops for strapping items to the side. This method utilizes the mesh pockets as a bottom hold. This is especially useful for tripods, or you can a leave the buckles in the center of the back to allow for center balanced lashing.
