The heat generated from an extended period of firing causes a mirage to appear above the suppressor, leading to negative effects on a rifleman’s ability to identify and engage targets. Armageddon Gear’s Suppressor Cover greatly mitigates the effects of suppressor mirage, allowing for longer suppressed shooting sessions and greater accuracy. The Suppressor Cover’s design features a highly heat-resistant insulating material covered by a nylon shell, ensuring no contact between the hot suppressor and nylon exterior. The Suppressor Cover secures itself on the suppressor with an adjustable cord, which allows the cover to conform to almost any diameter of suppressor and prevents it from slipping forward. The adjustable cord also makes installation fast and easy, and also allows the cover to be quickly removed to help cool off the suppressor after extended use.
