This is what you want for your AR10/LR308. Forget everything else and get this. Most of the AR10/LR308s I see out there try to get away with an AR Carbine tube and buffer, and they just don't cut it. You need the real deal. You need this Armalite.

This kit is a lifesaver. I had bought a complete lower from a reputable manufacturer. At least I thought it was, after experiencing some consistent cycling issues I discovered the buffer and tube assembly were from an AR15 and not the longer heavier items needed for an AR10. Once installed this Armalite kit solved the majority of the issues. This kit provided the real parts needed for an AR10.

This should replace the totally inadequate recoil system on every LR308 type carbine out there. The typical LR308 based carbine uses the short AR15 buffer tube and a too-light buffer that's only 2.5" long. This Armalite system uses a longer buffer tube and a properly-weighted buffer/spring combo to handle the 308 recoil properly. The H3 buffer is 3.25" long and weighs 5.4 oz.
