Description

Athlon Optic’s Ares ETR 1-10x24mm Riflescope was designed to for extreme accuracy at both short and long range. It features an illuminated, etched-glass reticle in the first focal plane that shrinks or grows when zoomed in or out, allowing for rapid target engagement at low power and precise holdover positions at high power. In addition, the Ares ETR comes equipped a locking elevation turret. This locking system prevents accidental adjustments by allowing the user to push the turret down to lock it, and pull the turret up to turn it. This works in conjunction with the Precision Zero Stop System, which enables the user to return to the original zeroing after making adjustments.

First. I want to thank Euro Optic staff for making my purchase easy. I ordered the Athlon Helos 1-10 SFP on back order and decided to jump at the FFP instead. They canceled that order, issued a credit and Michael answered my questions and processed the new order in minutes. I ordered this scope to replace a completely inferior Primary Arms 1-10 FFP and it does not disappoint. Very clear glass through all ranges of magnification. As close to true 1x as could be and maintains clarity without distortion even at full 10x. The reticle is clean and a good size at 1x to be able to be used for quick target acquisition. Clear view at 10x out to 300 + yards. This is my second Athlon scope and I am pleased with that 2-12 FFP as well. For scopes with this kind of clarity and price tags that won't break you, Athlon has become my budget favorite scope manufacturer. I will be buying another one.
