Very good optic. I read all the (mostly positive) reviews for this scope I could find and they're spot on. Pros: Clear glass all the way out to 8x. Lightest 1-8x at 16 oz. Very bright illumination. True 1x. Good eye relief. Great reticle. Cons: some edge distortion at 1x. Turrets could be better. Tight eye box at 8x (not really a con for this scope as all 1-8 have a tight eyebox at 8x). All in all, great bang for your buck.

Athlon Argos 1-8x24, 30mm BDC
I'll start this off by saying thanks to EuroOptics, for the sale, price...everything. This company is great to work with.
As described the package was a little beat up but the contents were pristine, like brand new.
I did not buy this optic with the notion it was the best LPVO I could get. My intent was to have a good, illuminated reticle, BDC LPVO I could shoot out to about 250 yards with my 450 Bushmaster.
Bingo! the glass is good, not fantastic, it adjusts well, the illuminated BDC reticle is just what I want, very easy to read. It has lived longer on the 450 than I thought it would, being as the rifle kicks like a 12 gauge. The scope is mounted to a Burris PEPR, rock solid and holding zero through over 100 rounds so far. I have adjusted the rifle zero from 50 to100 then to 150 and it keeps me on track. This reticle is not intended for the 450 but I have adjusted certain marks to my yardage and it is great!
This scope has done more than I intended and keeps going. It's not for every application but it fits mine well.

I have the entire Athlon Argos series and find them all to be very well built, decently bright and nicely finished. This was the last of the series I've purchased and put it to use on an AR I own, It's a great fit and "right sized" for that task. Glad I bought the Demo as it was like new in every way.

For the money its not bad , showed up with a crushed box like it says in the promo , I like the reticle and the glass is good at the price point , fast shipping from eurooptic .

Great price for an outstanding LPVO scope, super clear glass and 8 power gets you 300 yard shots plus lightweight and the reticle is very nice and not to busy. This is my 2nd one of these so all in all EuroOptic and Athlon are the perfect pair for fair prices for great products.

I had been looking at a LPVO for a year now and i already had 2 Athlon scopes on my 22 rifles but had not really considered them in my budget until i saw the demo Argos priced at Europtic. I ordered it and i must say the shipping was great and the scope was outstandingly high quality and super clear, 3 shots and on at 100 yards and was getting inch groups with ball ammo. I really love the reticle on this model as it was extremely easy to pick up and the glass is super clear plus 600 yard illuminated dots that are not busy in the scope, the quality of scope is easily comparable to much higher end scopes. If I need another scope Europtic will be my go to for my next purchase i am very pleased with their selection and pricing.

The scope is like as described,shipping was fast. I mounted this on my new AR15 with some Vortex extra High rings that I had and the height is just right.
