Piss poor design, in that there is very limited space between the rear of the adjustments housing and the eye piece for a ring and movement for proper eye relief. What I ended up doing was to use a one piece mount with rings and mounting it backwards .
The only reason I bought it was because of the 40X , the SFP and the "on sale price". Like another reviewer , I've found that the clearest picture was between 32 and 36 X.
I still wonder why there is a need for a lighted reticle , other that a "selling point".

Put this scope on my CZ 457 Varmint Precision Trainer Camo....... It works Great!!!!
I'm getting .41" to .49" 5 shot groups at 100yds using Lapua Center X. I've been adjusting back and forth between 50yds. and 100yds. with no trouble at all. This scope is well worth the price I paid...$374.51 to my door.

Great scope for the price. I have used this scope for target shooting and it is clear and bright but drops off a little over 32 X. Still clear enough to use.. just a little less clarity. Scope adjustments are well defined and audible. I don't think you could do much better with any scope at this price point.

This is the 2nd one I have purchased. The first went on a CZ 457 22lr for long distance 22 shooting. he second one went on a CZ 457 in 22 magnum. Great clarity, love the dials, and I really like the dot center. Great scope for the money.

very nice scope.
i have a wide variety of more expensive and less expensive scopes.
This one is mounted on a CZ target 22 rifle.
Shoots great
Clear glass .
very impressed
