Description

The Cronus BTR Gen II 4.5-29x56mm Riflescope by Athlon Optics delivers high versatility and outstanding performance. It comes equipped with UHD Extra-Low Dispersion Glass, which considerably reduces the effects of chromatic aberration while simultaneously enhancing image quality with sharp, vibrant colors. This scope is equally well matched for precision rifle shooting and long-range hunting, and features an internal stainless-steel component turret design to produce highly audible and tactile clicks. In addition, the illuminated, etched-glass reticle is in the first focal plane that shrinks or grows when zoomed in or out, allowing for rapid target engagement at low power and precise holdover positions at high power.

To be determined after heavy usage. Glass is good up through full elevation turret travel. Had to adjust parallax a touch once at max travel but it didn’t fade out like any lesser scope would do. I have more expensive scopes that lose clarity at max turret travel. The new aprs6 reticle is perfect. Parallax and magnification knobs are tight. Plan on throw levers for them. Tracking test through 15mils at 100yds is not confirmed yet. Initial test was .4 mils high at 15mils turret travel. I need to redo the test to confirm. I personally would not be happy with that if I used this on a .22 match gun. I will send it back if it confirms that far off. It does return to zero on the dot. If tracking confirms good, this would be the best bang for the buck for me with the features I prefer to use.
