New for 2022, the Alaskan Compound Bow is an optimized version of the Alaskan Classic from the 1950s and 60s. It comes equipped with a redesigned DHC hybrid cam system, which delivers an 80% let off without effecting the smooth draw cycle that Bear Archery bows are known for. These new cams allow a draw length adjustment between 25.5” to 31” and a draw weight adjustment of 15 lbs, making the Alaskan compatible with a wide range of shooters. Another feature of the DHC hybrid cams is the ability to shoot the Alaskan as a cable stop bow, or as a limb stop bow for a solid back wall. Other upgrades include the KillerWave limb dampener, which greatly mitigates noise and vibration and sports a low profile design so it won’t catch on anything. In addition, the Alaskan utilizes a slim grip that fits nicely in the hand, and aluminum limb pockets ensure rugged, reliable performance.
