What we have here is a genuine Benelli part. I was able to convert my pistol grip stock to the traditional stock in a matter of minutes (remove the trigger group; twist off). Now, my M4 shoulders exactly like it should. Shipping was quick and service was great; most importantly, they had it in stock! Elsewhere, these M4 traditional stocks are unicorn teeth.

Having the pistol grip stock on my Benelli M4, the length of pull seemed like a stretch. I’d been considering a field stock for a couple of years, so I finally pulled the trigger and bought one. To be clear, the pistol grip stock and the field stock are the same length when measured overall, but the hand placement is further back on the field stock, making it “feel” like a shorter length of pull. The other big difference that I noticed between the two stocks was without my hand anchored to the pistol grip (seeming to help manage some of the recoil), with the field stock, all of the recoil came directly back into my shoulder. After 40 rounds of slug & 00, my shoulder was sore for the first time with the Benelli. It has its trade-offs. The field stock looks great.
