Great basic pump. Lacks the polished wood and metal of Wingmasters and BPSs of days gone by, for sure. (For under $500 what do you expect?)
But it handles nicely, goes bang when it needs to and if you can shoot you’ll have no problem filling your bag. And it will go bang every time you need it too. As well as survive any abuse imaginable short of driving your truck over it.
If you can’t shoot then even a Purdey won’t fill your bag.
Buy the Nova and take couple of lessons and you’ll be just as successful as your buddies with the fancy semis who are too proud to learn how to shoot better.

This is a robust well made pump shotgun. At 6.5 pounds it’s heavier than some but this is very rugged.
Its quality speaks for itself. For example just hold the barrel in your hand and look at the build quality of the breach or the rib and contrast it against other brand.
I don’t like the feel of the ribbed grip or for end but they work great when it’s cold and wet and your wearing gloves.
