Description

The 1301 Comp has now evolved to the Pro version by implementing suggestions from Beretta’s multiple medal-winning shooters. The new stock has been improved for comfort, stability, and easy swing. Recoil is reduced by up to 40% thanks to two elastomer dampeners, equipped with return springs, and positioned near the rubber insert. Another dampener is found in the stock bolt, which absorbs the slide impact against the stock, therefore reducing second recoil peak, muzzle jump, and any slide movement vibrations.

The Beretta 1301 Comp Pro is loaded with ergonomic features that enhance the overall shooting experience.

3.5" oversized stock to facilitate faster cartridge reloading
Gas system with rotating B-Link closer system (36% faster cycling speed than any other semi-auto)
(4) threaded holes in upper part of the stock to allow Picatinny rail attachment
Comfort Grip forend for maximum grip even in poor weather conditions
Soft Comb insert for comfortable cheek rest
10x8 stepped rib with fiber optic sight and mid-bead sight for optimum target acquisition

I use it to shoot birds and clays. Like most beretta barrels and a steel rated choke (Rob Roberts T3, Jebds .685, Carlson Sporting Clay and Cremator Long Range) the gun patterns lead, steel, and bismuth very evenly. Oversized control are great for cold weather hunting and sport shooting. The reduced LOP is great for experienced shooters who can get down on the gun, and smaller framed shooters. My wife and 10year old shoot the gun, but it is front heavy for them. It’s nice too that mods are available from some aftermarket industries. Beretta’s recoil is very tolerable, from shooting the a400 and 350’s with and and without the kick-off system, the 1301 is also very soft.

Super fast shotgun. Very smooth and recoil is not bad at all. Shotgun is very light. Fun to shoot and so far very reliable. EuroOptic has been my go to ever since i purchased from their booth at the 2017 NRA convention in Atlanta, GA. Great people. Great Service.
