Beretta’s M9A4 G is an optimized version of the renowned M9 platform, and comes outfitted with a full assortment of performance enhancing features. One of the most notable improvements is a pre-installed Steiner MPS micro red dot sight. This advanced optic offers extreme durability thanks to a recessed window with a metal hood that block objects from reaching the front lens to prevent cracks, scratches, and other lens damage. The lens features high quality glass for maximum clarity, and the large 21mm x 16mm window accommodates shooting with both eyes open for enhanced situational awareness and eliminates tunnel vision. For greater accuracy and rapid target acquisition, the MPS utilizes a crisp 3.3 MOA reticle with 8 brightness settings (2 night vision compatible settings), allowing for use in any lighting condition.

The M9A4 G itself was made for the discerning tactical shooter. The safety/de-cocking lever normally found on the M9 family of weapons has been replaced with de-cocking lever only. This feature causes the first trigger pull to be relatively longer and heavier – similar to that of a double action revolver – so pulling the trigger requires a conscious decision, and every trigger pull after that will be short, light, and crisp. The de-cocker only lever perfectly complements the Xtreme Trigger System, which delivers a smooth pull in double-action, a crisp break, and significantly improved trigger feel and weight. The 5.1” barrel is topped with threading for use with a suppressor, and an under barrel picatinny rail accommodates tactical lights/lasers. In addition, the M9A4 G comes with two grip options, traditional side panel grips and wraparound grips, both of which are aggressively textured for superior purchase on the weapon in any condition.
