This mounting design eliminates the need to remove the flip cover from the riflescope, and delivers a rock-solid interface between the clip-on device and the optic as well as ensuring repeatable accuracy. The B2 Riflescope’s compatibility with clip-on devices is further enhanced by a short overall length of up to 4 centimeters shorter than scopes of a similar class. This promotes optimal mounting of the clip-on device, and positions the controls of the clip-on device within greater reach of the user. Not only does the short overall length of better accommodate the use of clip on devices, it also optimizes the handling characteristics of the host weapon by moving the rifle’s center of gravity closer to the shooter, thus making rifle rest more securely when taking the shot. An added benefit of the compact size is the short range of motion of the riflescope’s movable lenses, which results in improved mechanical precision and a more stable point-of-impact shift when changing magnification.
