BulletSafe’s Vital Protection 3 (aka VP3) Bulletproof Vest delivers level IIIA protection but retains BulletSafe’s legendary affordability. It features an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene construction, and is half the thickness and only a quarter the weight of BulletSafe’s previous vest model. This makes the VP3 concealable, discreet and promotes a full range of unrestricted motion. The VP3’s level IIIA rating enables it to stop virtually all handgun calibers all the way up to a .44 magnum, and also protects from stab and slash attacks from edged weapons. Its wrap around design utilizes ballistic panels to provide maximum protection over the wearer’s heart, lungs, and other vital organs. The VP3 also features Velcro pockets for larger ballistics plates, which can be used to upgrade the vest to a level IV rating and provide protection from rifle caliber rounds. In addition, the VP3 is ready to go right out of the box, and is made in the USA.
