I am modifying my rating of 4 stars to 3 stars. I still like this dot and its versatility BUT after 600 rounds the front lens broke loose and the dot shifted 100 moa and could not be brought back. Burris is covering a repair/replacement and sent a prepaid label, so I cant ask for more than that. I also understand that anyone can get a defective unit, but the dot broke 4 days before my first steel challenge so I had to put the irons back on and resight and cram some practice in. When the guys in my squad asked what sight I had I said Burris and all they said was OH. That did not inspire confidence in the future.

I put this on a new Canik rival-S and I really like it. I still have the 3 moa dot for ammo accuracy testing and the 11 moa with a 40 moa circle for steel. I did not think I would like the large circle but after 400 rnds of switching back and forth it has become my goto for fast steel transitions. It has made it much easier to call my shots. If I had to pick one thing I would have changed it would be to have a 4th level of brightness. I use the auto level adjust but it only has hi, med and low and sometimes with a bit of overcast it adjusts to hi which makes it difficult to see through the dot. I dont like the target to be hidden behind the sight but its only been an issue on 6" plates at or over 15 yds. But its still better than just a 3 moa dot when I'm in a hurry.
